As the centrepiece of Dark Mofo’s public art project for 2015, Anthony McCall presented three major works including Night Ship, a new commission from Mona, in which a dark ship sailed nightly up the River Derwent, lighting the adjacent shore with a powerful pencil-slim searchlight and blasting its foghorn across the water.
This catalogue includes images of the art as well as documentation of McCall’s notebooks and related materials, with a foreword by David Walsh and an essay by Jarrett Earnest.
