Australian artist Cameron Robbins harnesses the randomness of natural forces. For many years he has made drawings using machines (he calls them ‘instruments’) that transcribe the patterns of the wind.
Produced to accompany Robbins’ exhibition at Mona, this catalogue documents the span of the artist’s drawing practice, sound and video work, photography, installation and sculpture that interpret natural phenomena. Includes a foreword by David Walsh, an essay by Jarrod Rawlins and an interview with the artist by Nicole Durling and Olivier Varenne.
